Cosmo -- The Sergeant at Arms can verify this, of course, but I believe the ODSS Constitution (Even year bylaws, Section 8, Sub Para 1503, (j)(..5)) stipulates that when the President can not preside over Homecoming (or other such plenum assemblies), he must (at his earliest convenience), designate a President Pro Tempore to act as locum tenens.

Please choose wisely as this person will have full presidential powers and ability to act in your stead. We will all have to live with the consequences ...
