I have had to remove the pushrod cover 3 times since I began working on this 216. Each time the gasket was damaged in the process. This is the gasket set I used each time. For the fourth time I am going to be using a different one. Is there a way to seal the gasket and still be able to remove the cover without totally destroying the gasket. I've been using Permatex on the block/head side and just a bit of silicone adhisive on the pan side.

Thanks,
Jackie
