Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 44 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 44 | I have a 51 1/2 ton that I am finally getting all the front end sheetmetal put back after being painted, and am having some difficulty getting things to line up. The back corners of the hood need to come down some more, but even after reaming out the oblong hinge mount holes this doesn't seem to completely solve the problem. The hinges won't come down any more in these holes because of the contour of the cowl at this point. The other frustrating problem is the front of the fenders need to come up and spread apart so that the front of the hood will fit properly. Other than the rubber shims under the radiator support are there any other shims that are supposed to be used to make any of these adjustments?
