I think your template might be
for a different style arm?
Maybe your template will work for both style arms (and the holes are over the holes in the under-dash brace)?
If they are the same template, if you are willing to mail the template to me, I'll scan it as a real-size PDF image and post a link to it. I'd, of course, mail the original back to you.
