For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 393 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 393 | I've just had my radiator rebuilt and am freshening up the whole radiator support area (1947 AD 216) I have done a lot of searching on the site but am uncertain about the orientation of the bolts that attach the radiator support to the cross member. I have read and seen that they either go down (i.e. head up) or upside down (i.e. head at the bottom. Is there a right way or does it matter? I believe the bolts are 2 inch carriage bolts. (I don't trust some of the things the previous owner(s) have put on the truck.) Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.
It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it.
