My experience with glazing compound has not been good. Probably because I didn't get a good coat of sealer on it before top coating. It caused bubbling under the paint on the hood of my 49. Next time . . . not glazing compound, use a fast filling primer and then once everything is smooth, seal it good, then top coat it.
