Very impressive! You remind me of me. Going to any length to see the project through to the end. While others may think that spending years to end up with 124 horsepower is a waste, this is exactly the thing that sets you apart. The attention to detail, setting goals that are pretty much unachievable by most and seeing it through to the end.. that's what it's all about! I only wish I had the skills you do. To get that setup running perfectly is nothing short of amazing. Great job!
But what REALLY impresses me is how you share your project with others. That is pure inspiration for all ages and I think it will help the younger crowd get enthused about automotive restoration. I STILL think there should be a path to direct injection. Seems to me a stock head with holes drilled in each cylinder near the spark plug hole would provide for a pretty cool project. Having done no research yet, it seems like something that would not be impossible. Keep up the great work Ron, that writeup on the other forum is very impressive.
