I have a photo of the driver side of my firewall:

It should be the first photo in the list.

The firewall has a large (10" x 10") "X" stamped in to the metal. Inside of this area are 4 holes that look like they have been used to mount something at some time in the past. Does anyone have any ideas what they might be for?

Just to the right of these is a larger (1" dia?) hole that looks unused even in the pre-paint pictures. Again, any ideas?
