I used the teflon sheets on stock new springs I bought from JC Whitney. I found the ride to still be somewhat harsh and on certain types of bumps at highway speeds was very "lively", almost more than my new gas shocks could handle.
Along the same topic has anyone tried the shocks sold by Brothers. The add say's they have different rates, a softer one for compression than for rebound.
