I think your question slipped through the cracks. Or, everybody else could be using solar power for their 1952 3100 trucks...
Are you going to make a battery tray? The length x width will be your battery's length x width measurement, plus about 1/4" to 3/8" on each side. The height of the battery tray is really up to you, but I would make it at least 1-1/2" tall. My truck is a 55 Second Series, and the battery is located in the engine compartment, upper-left (passenger) side of the firewall.
I made a battery tray by printing a couple of pictures of the ones for sale, taking the measurements of the battery, & using my rusted one as a guide. My materials were scraps from a radar tripod & a power distribution panel door.
