i did the same thing with the same stuff only i never put gas in it after a year i looked in with a light what a bummer it was peeling im thinking you need to put gas in it and keep some in it to keep the sealer from getting to dry the guys from por would not return my messages i still have some i may try it again but next time ill buy a new tank instead of sealer or a good used tank that needs no sealer
