If your looking for a 12 volt replacement generator to replace the original one on your 52 you need to be looking for a long case step down 2 brush generator. The distance from inside of one end plate to the other is the same as on your original 6 volt and you can then take your original pulley and install it on the 12 volt generator....Your original pulley has an offset to it so you will need it. By doing this there is no mounting modifications involved. There were many many variations of the long case 12 volt generators used.......tell you what I will just send you a message with my contact info and I can help you find one or build you one.
