Kenneth, I picked up a retaining nut that holds the switch on the panel today. If you need it, PM me your mailing address and I'll send it to you...free.
The retainer is circular, measuring 5/8 in diameter and 1/4 tall. It has 4 slots in the side (to use for tightening). The threads are inside. It sits under the knob and would be polished or chrome plated.
