rickmg 'Bolter R Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 583 michigan	The Carter W1 carburetor for Chevy truck is a 420S. The same carb was used for 1940. If there isn't a tag on the carb, it is sometimes stamped into the bottom of the throttle base. Rick 1939 Chevrolet Stake Truck
