The Ron Francis thermister has a mini coax cable to carry the signal. I mounted mine on the t-stat housing to manifold bolt.
So you are thinking about putting two thermisters in one lug with a multi wire harness to keep it clean?
I built my truck to look stock so there are no extra switches or holes cut in my dash or hanging under it. I would have mounted both the kill and override switches out of sight.
