Don't know how much help this will be. I'm working on my 41 3/4 ton and needed a bed. I wanted to put an 8' bed on it so I can put a slide in camper on it.
I happened to have a 1966 Jeep pick up in my bone-yard, that has the Thriftside 8' bed on it. I started looking at it closely and taking measurements and I think it will work. The style is the same as our 41-46 trucks.

Measurements are a bit different. Our inside bed is 48 1/2" and the Jeep is 50". Height is the same, 14". I will need to work on the bed mounts, but I think I can make it work. I was able to find a pair of rear fenders.

Also, you can get the repos of the stake pockets; which I will need. Good luck!
