The ones with the T-shaped base are a bit scary to me. When the 261 was installed in the truck, I built a set-up to hold 2 of my 5 old white Mercury outboards. If I had used a longer 2x10, I could put 3 outboards on there. I wouldn't try this with a T-shaped base. [img] http://www.sandeace.com/48/MotorStand2a.jpg[/img]
1948 3/4-Ton 5-Window Flatbed Chevrolet 34 Years. Now with a '61 261, 848 head, Rochester Monojet carb, SM420 4-speed, 4.10 rear, dual reservoir MC, Bendix up front, 235/85R16 tires, 12-volt w/alternator, electric wipers and a modern radio in the glove box.
