TcLedermen, the truck took me just over a year. It was what they call a Rolling Restoration. I did most of the body work(which wasnt too bad because I had a good truck to start out with) and my old father in law helped with the engine and drive line. We bought a rebuilt 1954 Chev 1/2 ton 235.
JJ, The wheels are in fact newer model wheels. The hub caps do not fit onto them like the originals do so I fabricated some hub cap clips that are longer than the originals and screwed them into the wheels. It took alot of experimenting but I finally got it.
