I have pulled 2 apart and cleaned the contacts and then put them back together (had to epoxy the back on though). I did buy one out of a 64-88 truck, it also has the washer terminal on it. You could drill the center if you knob out if it is solid (some just had a rubber plug in them). I believe the internals of the switch are fine, but it fits in a bigger hole so, you will have to file out the hole in your dash and bezel nut and then find another small thin nut to hold it on with.
