I think it worth pointing out that the Canadian built GMC trucks in 1959 (and other years) ran with Chevy engines and not GMC power among other irregularities.
For instance, in 1959 only in Canada only did GMC offer the option to order the bedside stainless on the wideside (Chevy equivalent of fleetside).
