Yes, the number that you have is correct for the vertical switch. I have found one and should have it shortly, but you need to look around the internet. I've seen them from $35 to $180 (must be a pretty special one). I can't imagine that there are not some out there in the GM system still, but I don't have a parts guy that will take the effort to look it up. If it's not in the computer, he's not interested. It is listed as GM part group 2.698 if that helps. I have been looking for about 3 years for one, not real hard mind you, but still, as many 66 4speed trucks as there are out there, I would think they would be easier to find. Good luck in your hunt.
