on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 98 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 98 | Finally, almost finished with the T5 tranny install and rearend swap. The tranny from an 88 GMC Sonoma has been rebuilt and installed. The shifter was changed to a Core short throw shifter (had to change the shifter to work with the bench seat). The '71 Nova rearend has been rebuilt and upgraded to posi and installed.
There's one last piece to the puzzle. Does anyone know if there's an aftermarket tranny cover for the T5 that's a direct bolt up for the 3100? If not, has anyone else done a T5 conversion and what did you do for a tranny cover?
As always, I appreciate the wisdom you guys provide!!
