| | | | Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 899 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 899 | Hy sepp, the four speeds in the trucks had a single shifter in the center of the top cover, I think the four speed with the 283 is from a car as you suspected and probably used a floor shifter, hope that helps. That would be my guess also.
