Like I mentioned, start the top of the windshield into the opening first. I haven`t broken one three times so far withthese years of trucks.
I was told this trick by the guy at the glass shop where I bought the glass. The sharp angles at the top of the window on these trucks makes it extremely difficult to work in place.

Oh yes,,, do not use any petroleum lubricants on the windsheld rubber as it can cause it to break down. the soapy water will not harm the rubber smile
