Hi shop shark, I found the unit in a L M C truck parts catalog part no. 37-8558. I just replaced the sm 420 tranny with a T5 witch works great so the truck will remain standard.
The brakes are the original set up, drums and no power assist witch work fine but i'm not anxious to find out how they came up with the suicide moniker
