Actually, the best way to get into the Projects section (kinda like interning) is to start your "build / project thread" in the Engine forum. After you get to a certain point, John will have a chance to check it out.
We do hope to have more than just truck resto in that section. Right now, we are working out any bugs in the set up. So, starting in Engines will at least give you a start with some feedback and make it easy to move it to Projects when ready.
