I picked up the Information Package from GM Canada for my truck about a year ago. It includes the trim and paint numbers, the body number, VIN number, production plant, production date, delivery date, engine number and the number of vehicles produced of a similar model. But it did not include the dealer's name. I found the information (both general information and information specific to my truck) to be very valuable. It is definatly worth the few dollars they charge for the service.
