| | | | Joined: Jan 2015 Posts: 51 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2015 Posts: 51 | I was installing new taperd wheel bearings and seals in my 1950 3100. The inner bearing has a collar extending in twords the spindle that the seal rides on. The seal is flat. When installing the seal it is bottoming out on the bearing before the seal can be taped all the way into the hub. The seal seems like it will fall out. Unfortunately I bought this bearing kit over a year ago so I can't return it. I was looking in the Filling Station catalog and their kit mentions a modified seal. I wonder if that what I need. Any body else run into this problem? | | |
