That compressor may have the Kobalt name on it but it is a Campbell-Hausfield manufactured items. That is not bad in my opinion as I have a cast iron C-H which has not caused me any problems. There are times when I get ahead of it using a DA, line sander, air drill or when priming but nothing that I cannot live with. This unit should work fine for you but you may have to wait for it from time to time. I think that is a 110VAC machine so it should not require any additional wiring though I would suggest wiring a dedicated circuit breaker/outlet for it as it may trip a breaker and [censored] your wife off. That is something you do not want to do.
