| | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 1,745 Member | | Member Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 1,745 | One problem with dipping is that it is very hard to get it out of all the cracks and joints of the cab. Leading to paint failure later on.
If you go that far I would have them dip it in primer as well to get everything coated inside and out. I think they first give it a neutralizing bath.
If you just leave with the bare cab rust will come back before you are home.
