Very timely post. I just got a new HVLP gun. Having never used one before I have a question for you. You talk about having 10 psi at the cap. The instructions for my gun say 100psi max. Now I'm assuming that is from the compressor as the gun has a pressure reducing valve attached to it. Do I set this valve at the 10 psi you suggest? Also do I need to invest in a number of different size tips or stick with the 1.3 as an all round. I not going to be doing a whole truck just odds and ends, and some woodworking projects (which is a whole differnt subject). Anyway any info would a great help.
