I've been having some problems getting my conventional spray gun to spray right, and getting the paint thinned right, so I've been practicing on painting my frames and stuff. Generally the paint seems too thick and just sputters out the gun, and the finish is rough... Been following the manufacturers recommendations on thinning, but was wondering if there was a general paint consistency you look for in the cup, like milk. Or is this just something you get a feel for with lots of practice. Thanks for your help...Tom.
