I'm not sure what model you're working on, but there are a number of old Chevrolet service manuals
here.
A typical clutch for use with a 216 (1947 in this case) is shown
here. Guessing that you might be working on a mid-30's (from your handle), these might be of greater interest:
1938 and
1934.
