I am not very skilled at welding, so I use a MIG welder for most all of my welding requirements for like-metals . I can usually do a reasonable job, although I am always looking to improve. I use my gas welder for brazing dissimilar metals. But I have found the gas torch to be invaluable for loosening parts (nuts, bolts. etc.) I am in the process of rebuilding a NAPCO set-up for my truck, and quite frankly in some cases I'm not sure how I could have gotten some of the parts off the axles any other way.
