| | | | Joined: Jul 2015 Posts: 3 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jul 2015 Posts: 3 | I bought a 51 Chevrolet pickup while stationed in California and was told the numbers matched but as the truck was parked very close to the house couldn't check the vin on the drivers door opening but did notice that the title matched the engine number. I sent the papers off to my resident state of Arkansas and got the title changed to my name but I am wondering if I this is a common thing on older vehicle? This was in 1993. | | |
