The early 235s had the same front-mount as used on 216s.
Front-mounts were used on some later years (1954 and later high-pressure) truck 235s (maybe up to 1959? - someone will confirm/correct).
Some side-mount 235s/261 have a front plate that can be drilled for the front mount.
