Hey, I'm getting ready to get rid of the old oil filter from my 235, it's the kind that uses U bolts to hang from the intake manifold. I adding a fenton intake w/ 2 carbs . I'm thinking of bolting a new remote spin-on type from the inner fender below the alternator.My old oil lines a long enough, but I'm wondering if the fittings will work with the new set-up which come either 3/8 or 1/2 pipe thread.I'm not sure what the old ones are. They sell a kit with fittings and hose on Speedway, but it's $38. Anybody done this switch and can help me out?
