I have a chance to buy a 55-59 cab that's had all the welding done to fix the usual rusted areas. Body work can or will be completed when I purchase it. The question I have is the cab will sit for over a year before I get to it, so what is the best way to treat it, so that it's not a rust pile by the time I get to it? I want to get my frame completed before I take on the cab. Would epoxy primer work? I need some advise on this as this will probably determine whether I purchase the cab now and have what I want or risk finding a big window a year or two from now.

PS The kids didn't need X-mas present of Santa anyway I have been way better this year.
