heavy40chevy Shop Shark H Joined: May 2013 Posts: 173 michigan	I have an original 40, and the rear axle does not have an axle vent. After thoroughly inspected by several people, it looks like one never existed... I wonder why? Anyone else have one on theirs. Was it special or was it just overlooked at the factory? It does have the optional 4.55 gears
