| | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 71 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 71 | On the 49 AD 1/2 ton, there are six bolts that (by all the drawings I've seen) go through the bed wood, cross sills and frame. Is there any reason why I can't install the bolts first and put the wood over top of them by making a recess in the under side of the bed wood to clear the bolt heads? This would look better and I can't see how it could substantially weaken anything. Am I missing something? | | |
