I'm finishing up the body work on my 49 1/2 ton before it goes to the paint shop. I need to finish door jams, inside of doors, etc. Painter will only be doing exterior. It would be much easier to do my part with the doors off. I'm thinking about removing them at the hinge points on the door since that only affects fore and aft adjustment when they go back on. Am I getting ready to do something that I will regret? i.e. getting the doors adjusted properly without an enormous amount of work.
