I have NC registration slips from 1969 to last year showing a progression from 1100 miles. The story is that the Air Force bought this truck new and it sat until 1969 when they auctioned it off. The buyer painted it blue metalic (it was OD Green). I'm always skeptical of these kinds of stories but this old girl is in awesome shape. No rust or body damage that I've found. I am having to replace rubber because it's gotten hard. I'm replacing delaminated glass. And I've replaced all chrome because of pitting. The bed was replaced when I got it.
