I've got a similar situation with my old pickup. It's a 1952 Chevy 3600 (3/4 ton) with a 3 speed on the column transmission. The transmission works fine, but leaks grease on both ends. It's one with the enclosed drive shaft to the hanger bearing about 2.5 feet behind the transmission. It leaks grease at the front and at the hanger bearing. Is this the same transmission that is in the 1/2 ton (3100) trucks? I see some gasket sets for them but they don't appear to have a seal for the shaft at the hanger
bearing. I'm unable to find much info on the 3600 drive train and repair parts. Can anyone give me guidance for obtaining instructions and locating parts for repairing these grease leaks?
