Yeah, I have seen the "BB". I saw it when I used it to set tdc for valve adjustment.
It is one thing to see the "O" when turning the engine by hand.
A total different story when the engine is running. Paint that "O".
Does your distributor have an octane adjustment? That should be set at O before you set your timing.
