I'll do a build it thread. I do have some good news and some bad news on my great grandpa's 29' Chevy.
The good news: My dad was able to find the original title!
The bad news: The truck is NOT a 29' Chevy. It is a 1932 Chevy. It was built in Oakland, California in August, 1932 and was the 2,409th vehicle off the line.
The title was last signed by my grandpa (passed 1980). (1981 probate to my dad) Title was never transferred to my dad because it was inoperable. DMV wants it to go back through probate (34 yrs later) in order to give me title. I might be headed to court with title, notarized affidavit (from my dad), and grandpa's death certificate.
