The 454 has side motor mounts. These will be mounted to frame. You can use the tubular adjustable aftermarket type also. Devise a tranny mount or use existing. If you have passenger side hydraulic clutch, be sure bell housing will fit 454. You have torsion bar front correct? You must mock it all up with mounts attached and locate motor while inspecting for interferences to firewall, radiator, exhaust, steering, etc. Overall not a hard install with a 454 correct bell housing/flywheel/clutch. you may decide to buy an aftermarket front motor mount to use original front crossmember setup if it had that.
