I like MT's approach. I too had this problem and used; heat, sawzall, and finally a nut splitter to break mine loose but could have saved a lot of time by just doing what MT suggested. You're gonna replace the bolts anyway.
Seems like we all try to go easy to preserve parts and not bust anything that ain't already busted. But sometimes common sense evaporates in the effort to save what's there.
