Oh that I could go backwards. Problem is I have to pay the gov't so that I have their permission to get an out of province inspection. I then take this piece of paper to an authorized shop enabled to do these inspections. They then take this paper, note the authorization, throw the authorization away, do an inspection noting all deficiencies and send to the DOT. So now I have to complete all deficiencies, and have reinspected. The mechanic will then fill out a form that the DOT and I receive. If the DOT does not release the truck via the registry system the truck will not be able to be licensed.
As to me supplying all the specs, that has me in a foul mood. Truck has to meet standards of the time yet they don't have them and want me to. Grrrrrr.
So this is why I need some form of documentation. If I'm unable I'm going to be looking for some front brake drums and actually started looking today just in case.
