Ok, fighting through my 58 apache 1/2 ton, going to do whole brake system, having brain lapse on how to remove brake master cylinder from the rod that goes up to brake pedal. It's hanging loose, but the grease fitting area attached to front of master is where I'm confused and I can't locate in manuals or supplements how to remove from that part. Or, do you go up into the engine bay and unbolt from brake pedal and then press that out to install new master? Or, is there something under the zeirdt fitting that I didn't remove holding it there?
