According to American Autowire my 63 truck has a 62 wiring harness installed at the factory. Possibily an early 63 using leftover 62 parts. All the same componants, all the same wires. It seems that some of the connecting plugs were changed. The main one is the colume mounted blinker switch (lwr) a 62 has a 6 pin triangle shaped connector, the 63 has a 8 pin cresent shaped connector. (Different plug configurations). My 63 has a 6 pin triangle plug. What does your 63 have for a blinker connection? There are a couple more examples like dash cluster harness, dimmer switch, temp sending unit, etc. Nothing major, and yes I could rewire it to work. But that's not what I paid for. I do not need a schematic to do this job. I would like one to compare a 62 to a 63, there are differences, minor, but different. Thanks for your help. I'll go to goggle for a schematic.
